The Red Box nail on has knockouts for ½” fittings and romex. It has a holder for the EZ-Brace 101. Angles are cut to accommodate the EZ-101 with a fixture canopy, or simple light fixture. Knockouts are for the Channel brace bar which gets supported to the Red Box by a 6-32 machine screw. The brace bar can be used with ceiling joist at 16” on center or less.

* The flanges are cut to accommodate fixture canopies attached with the EZ-Brace 101 And the small diameter light fixture.

* The fixture mounting holes on the Red Box are for 8-32 machine screws at 3 ½” apart.

* The 4” round and octagon boxes are for 8-32 machine screws at 3 ½” apart.

1 box support is needed for both Red Box and Green Box. The box support is held in place by a sponge. The machine screw is 8-32 with a star nut.
It can be installed with a ‘speedy’ screwdriver. We tested the box support with new ½” drywall ceiling, the box support held 50 pounds.
